Davey Jones Deli in Sausalito

In March of last year, I took a handful of photos at this deli for Marin Mag's Dine Out section. I just came across a few of the photos and was reminded that the owner/chef, DR Jones, 100% loves what he does! The look on his face as he's assembling the sandwich is priceless! It's obvious how passionate he is about making a simple sandwich into a work of art. Both for the eye and palate. It's sincere, I promise. The vibrant colors of the sauces are a result of items such as fresh lemon, freshly roasted meats, apple lemon compote, fresh mozzarella, red pepper sauce, almond pesto, pineapple habenero sauce and lots and lots of veggies!
